Presently our Product Team does not have any definitive plans to build an integration with Rakuten. However, we'd like to learn more about Rakuten merchants. Namely:

  • What percent of your order volume is received through your Rakuten store?
  • How are you presently shipping your Rakuten orders?

This information will help our team evaluate and re-prioritize this integration.

We want to sell on Rakuten, but do not presently. I am always looking for other places to sell.  I tried to set it up some time ago but had to manually enter products.  I can automatically feed now with a new feed provider. But I wanted to have the ability to pull orders before I added it as it is very time consuming to deal with manually bringing in orders.

To be honest, I have already identified another provider that handles everything I sell on, allows me to print labels and updates inventory. I don’t know yet how there postage prices compare with you.  But I like Shippingeasy and some of my staff will not be thrilled if we change to something new.  But I am considering it and weighing the risks. You really don’t have very many places that you pull from compared with some others. 

Your chat help has been great and very accessible.  That may be something I have to consider as most online companies have little or no help.

We have a physical store where we have all our inventory and package and make labels during the day for all our sales channels,  Amazon, Ebay, our website, mail orders, Shopatron and am looking for more. I have feeds to google shopping and bing that sends customers to our website.   I want a label making software program that works with as many as possible.  Right now I have to manually enter the Shopatron and mail orders into shippingeasy since they are not pulled in automatically – and understandably for the mail orders.

I hope you bite the bullet and add this.  I am sure it is all about ROI.

I'm surprised to learn this isn't on your horizon given that Stamps.com just acquired you. Stamps.com already offers integration with Rakuten and several other sites which you do not (http://www.stamps.com/shipping/integrations/).  Perhaps a little knowledge sharing is in order, to better serve your customers?

Hi Alec - Thanks for your post. Presently, ShippingEasy and Stamps.com function as independent companies. Our development resources are completely separate and any new integrations with ShippingEasy require building them from the ground up. Unfortunately, this is a case where the knowledge sharing won't be able to expedite any development projects.

need rakuten integration please. i am tired of uploading the CSV then shipment history manual orders and manually input tracking for every order, every day. also need jet integration as i am not willing to pay for geekseller just to get order imports

We recently started selling on Rakuten.  Our account rep said they have an integration team who would love to work with ShippingEasy.  They just need connected.  This platform is making a huge push in the US right now.  It makes sense to have it as an option to connect.
