Best postage scale with USB data transfer?

Answered

I am interested in integrating a postage scale with ConnectEasy.  It seems like you need to get a scale that has a USB data transfer feature for this to work.  I see the models supported by ConnectEasy (Stamps.com, DYMO, and Mettler-Toledo) but I can't seem to find any of these models that have a USB feature that will transfer the weight data electronically.  The USB feature seems to be only for powering the device.

Hi Damion,

Thank you for posting to our forum!

The USB scales that we support (Stamps.com, DYMO, and Mettler-Toledo) typically do allow data transfer via USB and work with our scale integration called ConnectEasy:

For example, this scale:

http://www.dymo.com/en-US/m25lb-digital-postal-scale

Under specifications says "Connect via USB cable to PC or Mac®* to use the scale with popular online mailing and shipping software – including DYMO Stamps®*** software."

Once you have a scale, you can test it out and get the weight reading in ShippingEasy.  Steps for doing that can be found in the article linked below:
