Amazon Carrier Services with ShippingEasy

Amazon shipping uses the following carrier services to fulfill their shipments.

  • USPS-Amazon

  • UPS-Amazon

  • FedEx-Amazon

  • Dynamex-Amazon

Always give yourself enough time to pick, pack, and ship your orders. The last pick-up time for each shipping service will impact the availability of the shipping service when you proceed to purchase a shipping label on Buy Shipping Services. You may not see your preferred shipping services on Buy Shipping if the label purchase time is less than an hour from the last carrier pick-up time defined by you.

USPS-Amazon

Amazon has negotiated its own set of rates with USPS, thus limiting what USPS services can be used with Amazon Prime.

Permitted for USPS - Amazon Prime labels:

  • Shipping to a recipient address that cannot be validated with the USPS: Amazon does not allow for editing recipient addresses, so it is possible to purchasing shipping labels for Amazon Prime orders even if the recipient address is not valid according to USPS. A warning message will be displayed to let you know that Amazon will not allow editing of the address, so the shipment label will have an address that did not validate.

  • Accessing cubic rates through Amazon: When you have selected USPS Priority Mail and entered package dimensions for a custom package type, ShippingEasy will apply cubic rates to the shipment when the cost is lower than a weight-based shipment. To take advantage of these savings, you must set up custom packaging and then enter the correct dimensions. Set up custom package dimensions.

Restricted / Not Supported for USPS - Amazon Prime labels:

  • Using a USPS for ShippingEasy One Balance account to purchase labels: When you purchase a USPS shipping label from Amazon, Amazon bills you for it directly in your Seller Central account. Your One Balance account does not change.

  • Creating a USPS pickup request: Amazon does not provide any support for USPS pickup requests. USPS provides the option to manually request pick up service from USPS.com. Schedule a USPS pickup at USPS.com.

  • Creating a USPS SCAN form: Unfortunately, Amazon does not provide an equivalent feature for USPS shipments created by Amazon. So all Amazon Prime shipments sent via USPS will not be listed on any SCAN form. For all other USPS shipments, ShippingEasy uses One Balance SCAN form service.

  • Viewing the Delivery status: Unfortunately, Amazon does not provide an equivalent feature for USPS shipments created by Amazon. For all other USPS shipments, ShippingEasy uses One Balance delivery status information.

  • Adding a store logo: Currently, ShippingEasy does not support displaying your logo on a USPS - Amazon label. Any logo uploaded to ShippingEasy will not be added to Prime labels.
