Assign Orders to Users based on Destination - Shipping Rules

You can assign shipments to a certain User dependent on the order's destination. This is helpful for ShippingEasy customers who have multiple warehouse locations that ship to specific geographic locations. This way, the designated User will easily see which orders they need to ship.

  1. Go to SETTINGS then go to SHIPPING RULES.

  2. Click the blue Add New Rule button.

  3. In the field Rule Name, enter a name that describes the rule.

    For example, "shipment destination".

  4. Set the "IF" condition to Destination state and Is equal to the state of your choosing.

    If the destination state is equal to Wisconsin

    • Destination state | Is equal to | (state)

  5. Set the "THEN" action to Assign to user and select the user from the drop-down menu.

    • Assign to user| (user)

  6. Save your new rule.

Tip

If you have existing orders that you would like to use this rule on, go to the ORDERS page, select all of your orders, and then use the More button and select Rerun Shipping Rules. Refresh your browser until all orders have passed the rules and reappear on the ORDERS page.
