Verify ConnectEasy is Running and Reconnect | How To

If you have ConnectEasy installed and find that your print jobs are not printing, it can be helpful to verify that ConnectEasy is running on your computer and reconnect ConnectEasy if it isn't running.

Verify ConnectEasy status in ShippingEasy

Within the ShippingEasy app, three places will alert you to the connection status of ConnectEasy.

  1. ConnectEasy Icon

Next to the DEVICES & HARDWARE settings in the navigation bar, a printer icon displays if ConnectEasy is in use.

    • Green: All configured ConnectEasy client programs are available.

    • Yellow: Some ConnectEasy client programs are available and others are not.

    • Red: None of the configured ConnectEasy client programs are available.

  2. BATCHES

On the BATCHES page, the Buy & Print Label button is disabled if the ConnectEasy configuration specifies a printer that cannot be used successfully because the program is not running.

If the ConnectEasy icon is red, then ShippingEasy will not allow for the purchase of labels. If the icon is green or yellow, purchasing labels is allowed.

  3. PRINTER CONFIGURATION

On the PRINTER CONFIGURATION page, the ConnectEasy status column provides real-time statuses for all configured printers. This column will update in response to a change in the status of ConnectEasy.

A circle with a checkmark icon indicates that the printer configured to ConnectEasy is running and available. The triangle with the exclamation point icon indicates that the printer configured to ConnectEasy is unavailable.

Windows: ConnectEasy should be located in the corner of the taskbar.

If the ConnectEasy icon is still not visible in your taskbar, it is likely the program is not running or installed on your computer. If you recently installed ConnectEasy, navigate to your All Apps or All Programs folder and start ConnectEasy by double-clicking on it.
