Why does my shipment's USPS tracking status say "Shipping Label Created"?

Any USPS label created with a service that includes delivery confirmation will have a tracking number assigned to it. This does not mean that the package has begun transport with USPS.

If the package is not yet scanned into the system by the carrier, then the tracking status on USPS.com will only show "Shipping Label Created." Once USPS has scanned the shipment, it will show that the package has been "Accepted."
