Adjust Product Stock Levels | How To

Available to Existing Inventory Management Subscribers

This feature is only available to existing Inventory Management subscribers. Non-Inventory Management subscribers can learn more about using the ShippingEasy Product Catalog.

We are not currently opening Inventory Management to new users or developing new features or functionality for our Inventory solution. This means that at this time we cannot address the issues you have with the current system.

If you need an inventory solution that lets you add your third-party fulfillment provider to your account, our sister company ShipStation may be a better solution for you.

Stock levels can be adjusted one by one for individual products or uploaded for multiple products with a CSV file.

Adjust Stock for Multiple Products via CSV File

WATCH: Our step-by-step video tutorials can guide you through this process!

SKU Aliases and Bundled Products

When uploading products for SKU Aliases and Bundling (also know as lots), it works best to upload products in separate uploads:

  1. All SKUs + Product details (no stock)

  2. SKUs + Alias SKUs

  3. SKUs + Bundle SKUs (the Bundled SKU stock level can only be set/adjusted via CSV if you are setting/adjusting the component SKU levels)

  4. Individual SKUs + StockAll SKUs

  1. Create a CSV file that includes at least two columns: SKUs and Stock. In the "Stock" column, enter the total amount of stock you have. ShippingEasy will use the SKU field to adjust or add to your records. Learn more about available data fields or download an example CSV file.

  2. Go to the CATALOG page when your CSV file is ready.

Adjust the Stock Quantity for Individual Variants

For products with multiple variants, you can adjust the stock quantity for individual variants in the product catalog. This makes it easy to keep your product catalog current when specific variants fluctuate, as editing the stock quantity for an individual variant automatically updates the parent product.

  1. Locate the product with multiple variants either by searching for the product or by scrolling through your product catalog.

    PROD_Search_MultipleVariant_MRK.png
  2. Click on "Multiple Variants" to expand the list of individual variants associated with the product.

    SKU_Variant_Dropdown_MRK.png
  3. Enter the amount of stock currently available for that product in the "Stock" column.

  4. Click Enter on your keyboard and wait for the product to adjust.

You will see the new stock level reflected on the individual variant line item as well as an adjusted amount in the parent product.
