Turbify
Turbify (formerly Yahoo Store) is an online shopping cart that offers SSL certificates for every plan level that ensures your customer data is kept safe. Tubify is mobile-optimized and offers live insights on products sold so you can monitor engagement rates and sales data. Turbify integrates directly with ShippingEasy to automatically import orders so you can quickly start shipping. Once shipped, shipment data will be sent back to Turbify.
Connection Requirements:
-
You must have a live account with Turbify.
-
Turbify Store ID
-
Turbify Partner Access Token
-
Starting Order ID
Order Requirements:
-
Only orders that have a status of "OK" in Turbify are sent to ShippingEasy.
-
For your orders to download, you'll need to have your Catalog turned on. It's easy to configure this:
-
In Turbify Store Manager, click the Real-Time Links link, located in the "Order Settings" column.
-
Click the API Settings link.
-
If the "Catalog" column doesn't have a green circle, click Edit and check Catalog.
-
To Connect a Turbify store, you will need to complete steps in both Turbify and ShippingEasy.
How to connect your Turbify to an existing ShippingEasy account
-
Select Turbify from the Platform drop-down menu.
Once you are prompted for your Turbify Store information:
-
In another browser tab or window, log in to your Turbify account, then navigate to Control Panels and select Store.
-
Select Real-Time Links under Order Settings.
-
From the Real-Time Links, select the option for API Settings.
Note
Make sure your Turbify plan includes support for third-party API settings.
-
From the API Settings, click the Add New Partner button.
-
When the Add Partner window opens, paste the Partner ID listed below, into the Partner ID field, and click Next.
Partner ID: ypa-001712504399
-
The next Add Partner window will display four options. Check the boxes next to the Order API and Catalog API entries and click Next.
-
Click the Accept button to accept the terms of service.
-
Turbify will send an email containing your Turbify Store ID and Partner Access Token, as seen below.
-
Copy the Turbify Store ID and Partner Access Token into the matching fields in ShippingEasy.
-
Make sure to enter a Starting Order ID.
Turbify requires ShippingEasy to provide the oldest order ID that you want to be brought into ShippingEasy. This provides a starting point for loading data from your Turbify account into ShippingEasy. For example, if the oldest order ID that you want to ship from ShippingEasy is 3455, then enter that value as the Starting Order ID.
-
Click the Save button.
ShippingEasy's Turbify integration supports the following features and order data fields:
Turbify does not define a SKU field. Two fields in each Turbify product could be used as an SKU: ID and Code.
By default, ShippingEasy uses the Turbify ID as the SKU. But you can have ShippingEasy use Turbify's Code field instead.
Configure ShippingEasy to use Turbify's Code field for SKU:
-
Select SETTINGS from the navigation bar.
-
Click on STORES & ORDERS under INTEGRATION.
-
Click Edit store settings for your Turbify store.
-
Click on the Products tab.
-
Check the box for the option to Use Turbify Code for ShippingEasy SKU.
-
Click the SAVE button and then you are done!
Change Product Codes in Turbify
If you change the value of Code for a product in your Turbify store, you must re-publish before your Turbify store will provide ShippingEasy with the new value for Code. Learn about publishing changes to your Turbify store.
Syncing Orders:
-
If you have never received any orders and ShippingEasy is displaying an ALERT that your Turbify store is disconnected, then it is likely that you do not have the ShippingEasy partner token entered into your Turbify account. Learn how to access the partner token.
-
ShippingEasy will periodically query your Turbify store for updates to your unshipped orders. If you have a very large quantity of unshipped orders present in ShippingEasy, this may result in the query timing out and an incomplete transfer of order data.
We recommend removing any old orders from ShippingEasy that you do not intend to ship through ShippingEasy. Here are a couple of options available to remove these orders:
Split Orders/Partial Shipping:
ShippingEasy will send the tracking number of each shipment back to Turbify, but Turbify does not support the partial shipment of a single line item within an order. As each tracking number is sent back to Turbify from ShippingEasy, it will overwrite the previously sent tracking number. Only the most recent shipment's tracking number will be visible in the Turbify user interface.
Combined Orders:
ShippingEasy will automatically update tracking numbers to both Turbify orders after the combined order is shipped in ShippingEasy.
