The process is smooth until you get a check from UPS.  They issue it payable to a random string of characters (literally, example: ASDHES56-65834G-4532-543-FE), so you can't cash the check.

Requests to get a new check from ShippingEasy are futile.  I've been trying for a month.  They keep telling me it is being looked at by their 'Carriers Team'.

After a month, I contacted UPS who promptly responded.  They won't issue a new check until the name is changed on the account.  The account name is listed on UPS' end as a random string of characters.  I've searched everywhere in ShippingEasy settings and found nothing related, so I can't change this myself.

Basically, the $100 insurance that is included by default through ShippingEasy's UPS One Balance account is useless.  I've sent at least 10 emails and spent hours trying to get this resolved with ShippingEasy with no luck.

My guess is that after 60 days, UPS will deny issuing a new check.

ShippingEasy?  Yes.  InsuranceEasy?  No.
