Unsubscribe Contacts from Marketing Emails | How To
Preventing marketing emails from reaching customers who have opted-out from being contacted respects their preferences and builds trust in your brand. Making sure your unsubscribe information is visible and current is a requirement for sending Customer Marketing emails. You can unsubscribe customers one at a time on their profile page or mark multiple contacts to be unsubscribed from the CONTACTS page.
NOTE: Contacts are automatically marked as "Not available for marketing" if ShippingEasy detects that the attempted email delivery bounced.
Unsubscribe a Single Contact
- From the blue navigation bar, select the MARKETING tab and click CONTACTS from the drop down menu.
- From the CONTACTS page, locate the specific Contact you want to update marketing preferences for. Click the Contact name.
- On the Contact profile page, on the right side in the "Contact Information" section, uncheck the box next to Available for Marketing.
- Confirm you would like to permanently opt-out the contact from marketing emails.
- A message will appear confirming that the contact has been opted-out.
- On the Customer Profile page, Not Available for Marketing will now show indicating that the customer can only be sent transactional emails.
Unsubscribe Multiple Contacts
- From the blue navigation bar, select the MARKETING tab and click CONTACTS from the drop down menu.
- On the CONTACTS page, check the box next to each Contact name that you want to unsubscribe.
- Click the Action button and click Unsubscribe from the drop down.
- A modal will appear asking you to confirm that you want to permanently unsubscribe the selected contacts. Confirm and select Unsubscribe Contacts.
