How to: Save my Customer Marketing contacts

When you're subscribed to Customer Marketing, ShippingEasy will automatically save your customers' information. All buyer history from your store is downloaded into your CONTACTS. Then, as each order is downloaded from your stores, new contacts are saved and existing contacts are updated.

With a range of filters, such as contact status, purchased items, and total spend - having a complete list of your customers makes it easy to target segments with custom messaging. Learn more.

Of course, there will be times when you have contacts that haven't bought from you, yet. It's easy to add those contacts into ShippingEasy as well!

How to: Add a single contact

  1. Navigate to the MARKETING tab and click the CONTACTS entry from anywhere in ShippingEasy.
  2. Click the +Add Contacts button and select the Add Single Contacts (form) entry.

  3. Enter your contact's email address, first name and last name.

  4. (Optional) Click the Add Additional Information link.

  5. (Optional) Specify additional information about your contact.
    • Company
    • Phone Number
    • Tags to apply to the new contact. Learn more.
    • Lists to which this new contact should be added. Note that you can also have the contact added to a brand new list. Learn more.
    • Street Address
  6. Click the Add Contact button to save.

How to: Add multiple contacts (via paste)

  1. Navigate to the MARKETING tab and click the CONTACTS entry from anywhere in ShippingEasy.
  2. Click the +Add Contacts button and select the Add Many Contacts (paste) entry.

  3. Enter the email addresses for each of your customers. You can put each email address on a separate row or put a space or comma between each email address.

  4. (Optional) Click the Add Additional Information link.

  5. (Optional) Specify additional information about your contacts.

  6. Click the Add Customers button to save.
