The USPS includes a default insurance amount for its Priority Mail packages. If you’ve never had access to Commercial Plus Pricing, you’re probably used to up to $50 of insurance coverage automatically included.
If you’re on a ShippingEasy paid plan, in addition to lower shipping rates, you now have up to $100 of insurance included with USPS Domestic Priority Packages by default, and if you ship USPSPriority International, that coverage increases to $200.
Keep in mind that this does not apply to First Class shipments, which do not include insurance by default. You can also set this up on a case-by-case basis with Shipping Automation.
