Zebra Printing Problems | Troubleshoot

Print quality problems
If your labels are blurry, smudged, or faded, you may need to change the size and clarity of the label. Take a look at our guide to reconfigure your Zebra label setup.
Labels printing smaller than expected - any OS
If your printed labels are not filling the entire label and/or the print on the label is small, it is possible you need to edit your printer settings. You may need to recalibrate your Zebra printer to achieve proper label size. Learn how to calibrate the printer.
Labels printing smaller than expected - Mac
If your labels are printing small via ConnectEasy, use our guide to set paper size defaults in ConnectEasy.
As Zebra does not a driver for Macs, you may need to install a CUPS driver. Learn more about CUPS.
Labels printing horizontally - Windows
This may be occurring if you are using ConnectEasy to print labels on your Zebra printer. Labels may print horizontally if you ticked the box next to "Install ConnectEasy as a Windows Service" during the initial set up. If this is the case, you may need to reinstall ConnectEasy with the corrected setting.
- Uninstall ConnectEasy. Find steps to uninstall ConnectEasy.
- Re-install ConnectEasy. Learn how to install ConnectEasy and pay special attention to step 11. Under "Install as a Service", make sure the box is unchecked.
