Release Notes thru 2018-08-28

Inventory Management:
  • Added option for Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) merchants to report their combined inventory to their stores. The combined inventory includes the available inventory from Amazon's warehouse (FBA) and the merchant's own local inventory. This makes it easy for a merchant to sync their total inventory for sale across all of their stores.

NOTE: the option to sync combined inventory levels is available for accounts that have enabled FBA inventory tracking. Learn more.

    To enable combined stock updates:
    1. Navigate to STORES & ORDERS settings.
    2. Locate the store that should receive the combined inventory updates.

NOTE: only specific platforms can receive inventory updates. Learn more.

    3. Click through to Edit store settings.
    4. From the "Products" tab, check the box to Set available stock at store.
    5. Then a new drop down menu appears: Available stock updates to match
    6. Select the option for Total available stock (my location + FBA).
Customer Marketing:
  • Added a dashboard page for Customer Marketing. It features easy to read graphs that give instant insights into customer and revenue trends. Learn more.

  • Updated the Help Center, located in the bottom right corner of the app. The menu for self-guided walkthroughs has been renamed Recommended Features. Clicking "Recommended Features" will reveal a list of curated tools to boost productivity.
  • Resolved a problem integrating BigCommerce stores. Now, BigCommerce stores created after July 31, 2018 can be integrated with ShippingEasy. Learn more.
Inventory Management:
  • Enhanced the Product Variants feature in Inventory Management. The improvements include:
    • Support for more than eight options per attribute. For example, if a product is sold in multiple colors, now nine or more color options can be saved for the product.

NOTE: there is a limit of 100 variant SKUs per parent product.

As such, the combination of attribute options (ie variables) for a product cannot exceed 100. For example, if a shirt is made of two types of material, comes in four sizes, and has eight colors - the total number of variant SKUs is 64 (2 x 4 x 8). This is less than the limit of 100, so all attribute options could be configured and all 64 variant SKUs would be created.

    • Support for more attribute types. Previously, only color, size, and material options could be added to variants. Now, merchants can define their own custom attributes.
    • Added a message to display the progress when saving a large number of new variants. After the changes are saved, a message at the top of the page indicates success (in green) or errors (in red).
    • Enhanced the process of creating variants to prevent the user from adding an attribute or attribute option more than once.
    • Added a restriction to limit attribute name and attribute option name to 32 characters or less.
  • Resolved an error on the INVENTORY MANAGEMENT DASHBOARD. Now the first step in the "Configure Inventory Management" section will be checked when completed.
