Created:   |   Updated:

IMPORTANT: this document outlines the process to integrate Magento 2, v2.1.0 with ShippingEasy. As of November 8, 2016 ShippingEasy is not able to integrate with any version higher than this.
If you have a Magento v2.0.x installation, please upgrade to v2.1.0 before integrating with ShippingEasy.
If you have a Magento v1.x installation, click here for alternate integration steps.

Magento 2 is a popular eCommerce solution. Whether you're brand new to ShippingEasy or have an existing account, it's easy to integrate your Magento 2 store with ShippingEasy - first add a new store to ShippingEasy, then configure your ShippingEasy store settings.

Click here to jump to instructions to add a Magento store to your existing ShippingEasy account.

If you are registering a ShippingEasy account for the first time:

  1. When registering your ShippingEasy account, you will be immediately prompted for your Magento credentials after selecting Magento2 from the Platform menu.

  2. Within the Magento2 Store Url field, type your store's full web address. Ex: http://www.myshop.com

  3. In the Magento2 Username field, enter your Magento admin username. Then enter your admin password into the Magento2 Password field.
NOTE: the user must have administrative permissions to Sales, Products, Stores. If you would like to setup a separate user with these permissions, you can do so by going to Magento > System > User Roles > Create new role. Then going to Magento > System > All Users and creating a new user with the role permissions you just created.
Click here to skip to the next step.

If you are connecting your Magento store to an existing ShippingEasy account:

  1. Navigate to the SETTINGS tab and click on the STORES & ORDERS page under the INTEGRATION section.

  2. Once there, click on the the + Add New button on the side of the screen.

  6. Click Save.

Configure your ShippingEasy store settings:

  1. Whether you are registering a ShippingEasy account for the first time or adding a store to an existing account, you'll now have the option to configure your store settings.
TIP: if you skip this step now, you can access these settings later by navigating to SETTINGS >> STORES & ORDERS. Then click the Edit store settings link below your Magento2 store details.
  2. Once integrated, orders placed within the last 14 days will begin syncing with ShippingEasy.
NOTE: if you are on a Magento Community edition, the speed of your order download into ShippingEasy is dependent on the download speed of the server you're hosting your Magento store on.
