How does ShippingEasy access my Globegistics rates?

When Globegistics is connected with your Globegistics credentials:

If you have already connected your account, you can verify that it’s connected on the ONE BALANCE AND CARRIERS page:
- In the top right corner of your ShippingEasy account, click the ONE BALANCE AND CARRIERS link.
- Scroll down to the Globegistics logo.
- If the green "Connected" icon is showing, ShippingEasy has access to your Globegistics rates.
How can I verify that my Globegistics services are configured correctly?
ShippingEasy accesses your Globegistics services through the READY TO SHIP page. If your account is connected, you’ll be able to see Globegistics services from the Carrier Selections menus. ShippingEasy connects your Globegistics account through Abol (direct connection with Globegistics).
When connecting to rates directly through Globegistics:
- From the ORDERS page, create a shipment to send an order to the READY TO SHIP page. Learn more.
- On the READY TO SHIP page, expand the Carrier menu and select Globegistics to see a list of Carrier Services.
- Expand the Carrier Services menu to see the Globegistics services.
The list of Services will vary dependent upon your negotiation with Globegistics.
Why are some services not listed?
When you configure ShippingEasy to use your Globegistics account, ShippingEasy uses your Globegistics Username and Password to determine which specific Globegistics services are available to your Globegistics account.
If no services are listed when you select Globegistics as the carrier on the Ready to Ship screen, verify your Globegistics Username and Password are correctly specified in ShippingEasy.
If some services are listed but other services are missing, contact Globegistics to verify that Globegistics configured your account correctly.
Why do my Amazon orders show "Other" as carrier when I ship with Globegistics?
For accounts connecting directly through Globegistics, ShippingEasy sends "Other" as the carrier name to Amazon.
How do I create a Globegistics shipment?
There are two ways to create a shipment via Globegistics.
- From the ORDERS page, create a shipment using Shipping Selections with Globegistics. Learn more.
- On the READY TO SHIP page, expand the Carrier menu. Select Globegistics to see a list of Carrier Services. Expand the Carrier Services menu to see which options Globegistics has enabled for you through Abol (direct access through Globegistics). Learn how to select a carrier and service.
If your account has eCom Extra enabled, you will see both international and domestic shipments listed as services in ShippingEasy even if Globegistics has only enabled it for international shipments.
What information is included on a Globegistics label?
Can I see the cost of a shipping label when I use Globegistics?
No. The software provided to ShippingEasy by Globegistics does not yet support the display of rate quotes for your shipping labels. So all shipping costs for Globegistics shipping labels created within ShippingEasy show a cost of $0.00.
Can I specify the date on my Globegistics labels?
No. The date on Globegistics labels is automatically populated based on the current date. No other date can be set.
Can I set the Sender's Signature for my Globegistics labels?
The Sender's Signature for your Globegistics labels is set when you create your Globegistics account. If you need to update the Sender's Signature, please reach out to your Globegistics account manager. Find Globegistics contact information.
Why are my customers' names appearing twice on my Globegistics labels?
If your Globegistics account is connected directly to ShippingEasy through the Postage and Carriers page, it is integrated via Abol. Currently Abol requires a Company Name to be included with any addresses. If a Company Name is not provided, the Recipient's name will also be populated in the Company Name field, resulting in two instances of the customers name.
How can I track an international shipment with Globegistics?
Can I print a customs form for my international Globegistics shipments?
No. All customs information for Globegistics international shipments is handled electronically when you create the shipping label. There is no need to create a printed copy of the customs form or commercial invoice, so there is no option on the SHIPMENT HISTORY page for creating a customs form on Globegistics shipments.
Can I create a return label on a Globegistics shipment?
No, Globegistics does not support return shipment labels at this time.
