Do I need to enter a province for my international orders?

Created:   |   Updated:

In some cases, yes. However, most international destination countries do not require a province on the label. Including the province can help local couriers. Excluding the province leaves more room for other address details, avoiding information from being cut off the customs form.

With a few exceptions, these countries always require a province (or state):

  • US
  • Canada
  • Australia
  • Brazil
  • Japan

The requirement to include a province on a label may vary by courier. When in doubt, it best to include province when shipping to these destinations.
