The USPS is implementing rate decreases on April 10th, 2016. In recent years, the Postal Regulatory Commission granted the USPS approval for a temporary price increase on select market-dominant services. This price increase is set to expire, resulting in rate reductions for many services.
The changes affect Retail rates for domestic First Class Mail (letters), First Class Package Service (parcels), Media Mail, and signature confirmation services.
