How to use ShippingEasy with APC Postal Logistics

How does ShippingEasy access my APC Postal Logistics rates?

ShippingEasy can connect to your APC Postal Logistics through Abol (direct connection with APC Postal Logistics).

When APC Postal Logistics is connected with your APC credentials:

You will connect your APC Postal Logistics account directly in ShippingEasy. Learn more about connecting your account.

If you have already connected your account, you can verify that it’s connected on the ONE BALANCE AND CARRIERS page:

  1. In the top right corner of your ShippingEasy account, click the ONE BALANCE AND CARRIERS link.
  2. Scroll down to the APC Postal Logistics logo.

  3. If the green "Connected" icon is showing, ShippingEasy has access to your APC Postal Logistics rates.

How can I verify that my APC Postal Logistics services are configured correctly?

ShippingEasy accesses your APC Postal Logistics services through the READY TO SHIP page. If your account is connected, you’ll be able to see APC Postal Logistics services from the Carrier Selections menus.

ShippingEasy connects to your APC Postal Logistics through Abol (direct connection with APC Postal Logistics).

When connecting to rates directly through APC Postal Logistics:
  1. From the ORDERS page, create a shipment to send an order to the READY TO SHIP page. Learn how to create an APC shipment.
  2. On the READY TO SHIP page, expand the Carrier menu and select APC to see a list of Carrier Services.
  3. Expand the Carrier Services menu to see the APC services.

    The list of Services will vary dependent upon your negotiation with APC Postal Logistics.

Why are some services not listed?

ShippingEasy accesses your APC Postal Logistics services through the Abol label server. If you are missing all APC Postal Logistics services, ShippingEasy may not have the correct account credentials. If you are only missing some services, they may not have been enabled for your APC Postal Logistics account. 

If no APC Postal Logistics services are listed:

If no services are listed when you select APC Postal Logistics as the carrier on the READY TO SHIP page, verify your APC Postal Logistics Username and Password are correctly specified in ShippingEasy.

If only some APC Postal Logistics services are listed:

If some services are listed but other services are missing, contact APC Postal Logistics to verify that APC Postal Logistics configured your account correctly.

What information is included on a APC Postal Logistics label?

Date

The date on APC Postal Logistics labels is automatically populated based on the current date. No other date can be set.

Rate

All shipping costs for APC Postal Logistics shipping labels created within ShippingEasy show a cost of $0.00. The software provided to ShippingEasy by APC Postal Logistics does not yet support the display of rate quotes for your shipping labels.

Signature

Only one APC Postal Logistics service, ePacket, provides the option for a signature on the label. However, the signature for ePacket is not required.

No other APC Postal Logistics service allows for a signature on the label.

If you see a Sender's Signature on your ePacket labels, this reflects the signature you provided to APC Postal Logistics during account setup. If you need to update the Sender's Signature, please reach out to your APC Postal Logistics account manager. Find APC Postal Logistics contact information.

The signature saved within your ShippingEasy INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS settings is not applied to APC Postal Logistics labels.

Can I print a customs form for my international APC Postal Logistics shipments?

No. All customs information for APC Postal Logistics international shipments is handled electronically when you create the shipping label. There is no need to create a printed copy of the customs form or commercial invoice, so there is no option on the SHIPMENT HISTORY page for creating a customs form on APC Postal Logistics shipments.

Can I create a return label on an APC Postal Logistics shipment?

No, APC Postal Logistics does not support return shipment labels at this time.
