Year End Shipping Report for Taxes | Overview

Whether you file quarterly or yearly, every eCommerce store will face a time when they need to collect tax records. ShippingEasy's reporting feature can go far in providing you with large amounts of data that can be helpful when compiling tax documentation. Additionally, most ShippingEasy subscribers will require proof of postage purchases, subscription fees, as well as shipment insurance purchases (if applicable). 

IMPORTANT : ShippingEasy will be converting our USPS postage provider to Stamps.com beginning in February 2019.

  • If your account has not been converted, you will only need to download your Endicia records.
  • If your account has been converted to a Stamps.com account, you will still be able to access your records in Endicia. Remember to download both your Endicia and Stamps.com records for 2019.

Shipping Reports

ShippingEasy's REPORTS page holds data across a variety of metrics, including postage costs and insurance costs. These reports may be used to reconcile data or act as the sole source of data. Learn more.

Postage

Shipping Providers, including Stamps (for USPS postage), UPS, FedEx, and consolidators, will have the best records.

Accessing Endicia History

In 2019, ShippingEasy converted USPS postage accounts on the Endicia rate provider to Stamps.com. If you need to access your postage history from Endicia, follow these steps.

NOTE : if an Endicia account has been closed completely, not just converted to Stamps.com, records will not be available at Endicia.com. Contact ShippingEasy customer support using the email listed for the account owner to obtain these records.
  1. Click on the History tab from the top navigation bar in Stamps.com and then click on the link to view older transactions.

  2. This will bring you to an Endicia page where you can access your Endicia account information.

Subscription

ShippingEasy subscription invoices are sent via email at the start of each billing cycle. Each invoice features the following subject, with [#] specifying a unique invoice number for each bill:

Your ShippingEasy, Inc. receipt [#]

If you are uncertain which email address was used to receive the invoice or you need additional assistance retrieving your invoices, contact our Customer Success team

Insurance

Shipsurance insurance invoices are sent via email on a recurring basis. Learn more about how Shipsurance insurance is billed.  Each invoice features the following subject, with [#] specifying a unique invoice number for each bill:

Your ShippingEasy, Inc. receipt [#]
