What data is available within Reports?

ShippingEasy's REPORTS page features a set of preconfigured reports with the added option to create custom reports. If you're new to ShippingEasy REPORTS, take a look at our overview guide.

Data sets accessible via preconfigured reports:

Shipping Reports
Order Reports - Unshipped
Product Sales Reports

Each of these preconfigured reports includes a unique set of metrics, all of which can be found among the data metrics available in custom reports. Learn more about creating a custom report.

Data metrics available within ShippingEasy's REPORTS page: 

Metric Description Suggested Use
Ship Date Date displayed on the shipping label. Shipping: tracking status of orders.
Creation Date Date the shipment was created. Productivity: compare with Order Date to find throughput rate; combine with User, Store, or Ship From data to find productivity of an individual or location.
Creation Time Time the shipment was created. Productivity: compare with Order Date to find throughput rate; combine with User, Store, or Ship From data to find productivity of an individual or location.
User For accounts with multiple user logins: user login which processed the shipment. Productivity: track throughput of staff.
Order Date Date the customer placed the order on your website. Store: sales activity over a time frame.
Marketing: generate contact lists based on purchase dates.
Order Total Total amount your customer paid to you including item cost, shipping charge and taxes. Financial: gross profit analysis.
Marketing: generate contact lists based on purchase amount.
Discount Amount Any discounts applied to the order total; available for select platforms (Amazon, Bigcommerce, Shopify, Magento, Volusion, WooCommerce). Financial: evaluate effectiveness of discounts.
Marketing: generate contact lists (customers who got a discount once will likely jump at another).
Sales Tax Amount your customer paid in Sales Tax. Financial: tax preparations.
Store Website at which the order was placed. Traffic: sales activity by channel.
Marketing: generate contact lists based on sales channel.
Order Number Reference number assigned to your order. Store: reconcile shipments.
Ship From Name of the location from which the shipment was sent. Productivity: track throughput of warehouse.
Ship From Address Address of processing warehouse and/or return address displayed on the shipping label. Productivity: track throughput of warehouse.
Recipient Customer name. Marketing: generate contact list.
Recipient Billing Address Address of the individual that purchased the order. Marketing: generate regional campaigns.
Recipient Shipping Address Address of the individual receiving the order. Marketing: generate regional campaigns.
Email Address Email address used to receive the shipment confirmation email or alias provided by platform (ie: Amazon, eBay). Marketing: generate contact list.
Carrier Carrier that shipped the order. Shipping: evaluate shipping services.
Rate Provider Carrier account used to purchase postage. Financial: tax preparations.
Service Type Specific carrier service selected to ship the order. Shipping: evaluate shipping services; estimate speed of delivery.
Package Type Specific carrier package option selected to ship order. Note: currently, this does not include custom packages. Shipping: evaluate packing supply needs.
Confirmation Option Specific carrier confirmation option added to service. Shipping: evaluate shipping services.
Quantity Number of items included in shipment. Inventory: compare with SKU and/or Item Description to track inventory turnover.
Weight (oz) Package weight. Shipping: evaluate shipping services.
Zone USPS designation which indicates the distance the shipment traveled. Learn more. Shipping: evaluate shipping services (ie: use Regional Rate for lower Zones, learn more); plan strategic addition of warehouses.
Marketing: generate regional campaigns.
Destination Country Country to which the shipment was sent. Traffic: track growth of international sales channels.
Destination Company Company to which the shipment was sent. Marketing: generate contact list.
Destination Address Line 1 Address to which the shipment was sent. Shipping: tracking orders.
Destination Address Line 2 Secondary address line, to which the shipment was sent. Shipping: tracking orders.
Destination City City to which the shipment was sent. Marketing: generate regional campaigns.
Destination State/Province State (if domestic) or province (if international) to which the shipment was sent. Shipping: plan strategic addition of warehouses.
Marketing: generate regional campaigns.
Destination Postal Code Zip code to which the shipment was sent. Shipping: tracking orders.
Marketing: generate regional campaigns.
Destination Phone Phone number of the package recipient. Shipping: tracking orders.
Tracking Number Unique shipment number assigned by the carrier. Shipping: track orders' delivery statuses.
Store: reconcile shipments.
Length (inches) Measure of package length in inches. Shipping: evaluate shipping services and packing methods.
Width (inches) Measure of package width in inches. Shipping: evaluate shipping services and packing methods.
Height (inches) Measure of package height in inches. Shipping: evaluate shipping services and packing methods.
Shipping Paid (by customer) Amount your customer paid to you for shipping. Financial: shipping cost analysis.
Postage Cost Amount your business paid for the shipping label. Financial: shipping cost analysis.
Insurance Cost If you added insurance, amount your business paid for shipment insurance; relates to the declared value for coverage. Financial: shipping cost analysis.
Total Shipping Cost Cost of the shipping label plus any insurance and additional confirmation options. Financial: shipping cost analysis.
Shipping Margin Difference between how much your customer paid you for shipping and the amount you paid for the shipping label. Financial: shipping cost analysis.
SKU Unique identifier assigned to your products; most helpful when Product Catalog is used. Learn more. Inventory: compare with Quantity to track inventory turnover.
Warehouse/Bin Location where the product is stored. Inventory: analyze warehouse space and turnover.
Item Name Name assigned to your products. Inventory: compare with Quantity to track inventory turnover.
Batch Name Name assigned to the batch, if shipments were batched. Shipping: tracking status of orders and labels.
Custom Field 1 Custom field added to orders from within ShippingEasy. Learn more about custom fields. Versatile fields that can be used to track any segment of data that your team requires.

Return Indicates if a shipment was a return shipment. Shipping: evaluate shipping services.
