How to: Print my documents from a PDF

Created:   |   Updated:

ShippingEasy provides several options for printing labels, packing slips and pick lists. You can integrate your printer and send print jobs directly to your printer via ConnectEasy or open your documents in a browser as PDFs and manually create each print job.

Printing documents from a PDF is a great option if you do not have your printer directly integrated with ShippingEasy, if you need to save soft copies to your hard drive or like to review your documents before printing. This article will cover how to print from a PDF at various places in the app in two steps:

  1. Configure your account to generate documents as PDFs
  2. Print documents to PDF

To configure your account to generate documents as PDFs:

If you normally use ConnectEasy to complete your printing and simply need a single PDF for a one-time instance, you can follow these steps to generating a PDF when ConnectEasy is enabled.

If you need to disable ConnectEasy and print exclusively to PDF, follow these steps:

  1. Go to SETTINGS  and then select PRINTER CONFIGURATION under HARDWARE AND DEVICES.

  2. Set the specific label carriers and/or document types to the PDF (Print a PDF file from your browser) option. This means that these documents will only be printed using in-screen, viewable PDFs.

  3. Click Save.

To print documents from PDF:

Once you have set your documents to print to a PDF, you will find options to request document generation from every page in ShippingEasy. Though, you will need to navigate to the READY TO PRINT or SHIPMENT HISTORY pages to open the PDFs.
