BigCommerce offers a great platform for selling your products which ShippingEasy supports, making it easy to receive orders and ship them to your customers.
How does it work?
ShippingEasy automatically sends queries to read the orders from your BigCommerce account and then loads them into your ShippingEasy account. You will see the BigCommerce orders on the ORDERS page in ShippingEasy as soon as you log in. Once shipped, shipment data will be sent back to BigCommerce.

How often are my orders synced?
By default, orders are automatically synced hourly. However, you can disable this automatic order download and opt to manually sync your orders via the Sync with store button when you are prepared to ship them. Learn more about disabling automatic order downloads.
Are all orders sent from my BigCommerce account to ShippingEasy?
Only specific order statuses will sync with ShippingEasy. Orders with the following statuses will be brought into ShippingEasy:
- Awaiting Payment
- Awaiting Fulfillment
- Awaiting Shipment
- Partially Shipped
What happens if I click Sync with Store on the ShippingEasy ORDERS page?
The Sync with Store link prompts ShippingEasy to pull through orders, in a status which syncs.
If your store is set up for automatic hourly order downloads, Sync with Store will bring your orders in sooner than the time of the usual hourly sync.
If you have disabled the automatic order download, you must use Sync with Store to download your orders.
It can take 15-20 minutes for orders to populate after selecting Sync with Store.
How do I get existing BigCommerce orders sent to my new ShippingEasy account?
ShippingEasy syncs orders that were placed within 14 days before integrating. If you have orders older than 14 days old, you can create manual orders for these shipments. Learn how to add manual orders one-by-one or via a CSV file.
If you are on a paid plan, please contact ShippingEasy support via the links to email, chat or call in the top left corner of the app, as we may be able to sync these older orders. Keep in mind the orders must be in a syncable status.
If an order is updated in BigCommerce, will it update in ShippingEasy?
Yes. Updates to order status and recipient addresses in BigCommerce will update back to ShippingEasy. Learn more.
If an order is cancelled in BigCommerce, will it clear from ShippingEasy?
Yes. If an order present on the ShippingEasy ORDERS page is cancelled in BigCommerce, then it will be removed from your ShippingEasy account.
Why are my orders not downloading from BigCommerce?
There are a few likely reasons that your orders are not downloading:
- Your store has been disconnected.
- The orders are in a status that does not sync.
- The orders are older than 14 days old.
- Your account has been idle and/or your automatic order downloads have been disabled.

Are product weights displayed in ShippingEasy?
Yes. Product weights pull in from your BigCommerce store.
Are product options displayed in ShippingEasy?

Are order gift notes displayed in ShippingEasy?
Yes, but only if you use the gift wrapping option that is provided by BigCommerce. Learn more.
What information is sent back from ShippingEasy to BigCommerce?
When you purchase a label, ShippingEasy updates BigCommerce with the ship date, tracking number (if included), and a "Shipped" status.
Why aren't my orders updating back to Bigcommerce?
If you manage your inventory on BigCommerce, there must be enough quantity in stock to fulfill the order for the status to change to "Shipped". If there isn't enough of the product in stock, the order will not be marked as "Shipped".
For example: if BigCommerce says there are 0 items available and we are trying to say one has shipped, you will see an error message.
If I combine two orders in ShippingEasy, do both orders get updated in BigCommerce?
If I split an order in ShippingEasy, will ShippingEasy update both tracking numbers to BigCommerce?
Yes. Also, if you split an order and ship a portion of the order, it will update back to BigCommerce as a partial shipment. Learn how to split orders.
Will ShippingEasy send email notifications to my BigCommerce customers when their orders ship?
You have the option to send email notifications from ShippingEasy to your customers. Learn how to send email notifications from ShippingEasy and how to customize these emails.
We recommend reviewing your BigCommerce email settings, too, to ensure that your customers are not receiving duplicate emails:
- Log into your BigCommerce admin account.
- Go to Setup & Tools > Checkout.
- Uncheck or check the box for the emails would like to send or not send.
- Save changes.
If I already have a ShippingEasy account, can I use it from within Bigcommerce as a Bigcommerce App?
