The READY TO SHIP page provides you with the fastest place to purchase & print labels once you are set up with ConnectEasy. If you are experiencing issues completing this process, check the issues outlined below for solutions to solve your problem.
If the "Print Now" button is not activated
It could be that you do not have ConnectEasy.
The "Print Now" button will only work if you are using ShippingEasy's printing tool. ConnectEasy enables you to print labels directly from ShippingEasy to your printer without opening a PDF. You will need to have ConnectEasy installed on your computer to have this option. Learn more about ConnectEasy.
If the "Print Later" button is not working
It could be that you have not provided enough information to get a shipping rate.
Have you selected a carrier, service, and packaging type?
Double check that you have your carrier, carrier service and packaging filled out.
If you frequently ship the similar packages with the same carrier, consider setting up a saved carrier selection. Learn more.
Have you entered a package weight?
In most cases, it is required that you provide the package weight before a rate can be provided.
Have you entered dimensions?
In most cases, it is required that you provide the package dimensions before a rate can be provided.
Is this an international order?
If yes, verify the following:
- Make sure each customs form line item is under 50 characters.
- Confirm the order matches the weight on the customs form. The weight on the customs form and the label need to match. If they do not, please update each field to the correct weight.
- Does your customs form have more than five line items? Are you printing a 4x6 label? If so, look here for suggestions.
Is there an error message in red at the top of the order?
If so, try the recommendation on the error message to resolve the issue. If you still see an error, try removing the order back to the ORDERS page and reprocessing it.
Are the addresses validated?
Is this a batch shipment?
Double check all orders in the batch for the suggestions above.
USPS Specific Tips
If you are shipping via USPS, consider these other issues.
Do you have enough money in your USPS postage account balance?
USPS postage purchased in ShippingEasy must be paid for via a USPS postage account. Learn how to view your postage balance.
Has your USPS postage account been suspended?
ShippingEasy must be able to connect to your USPS postage account to buy USPS postage. You can check the status of your account by looking under SETTINGS> POSTAGE AND CARRIERS. If the account is suspended, follow these steps to unsuspend your account.
Do you need to update your payment on your USPS postage account?
If your billing method is outdated, it will not be possible to replenish your USPS postage balance. Learn how to updated your USPS postage account billing.
FedEx and UPS Specific Tips
If you are shipping via FedEx or UPS, consider these other issues.
Is your carrier account connected to ShippingEasy?
Your carrier account must be connected with ShippingEasy in order to access shipping rates. To verify, navigate to SETTINGS> POSTAGE AND CARRIERS that your account is still connected.
Are there any holds on your FedEx or UPS accounts?
Fedex error: Airbill not allowed for Origin Country
This Fedex error indicates that the selected Fedex service is not allowed for the destination country of the shipment. To resolve this error, select a different carrier service.
