Troubleshoot: Syncing Yahoo orders

If your Yahoo orders are not pulling into ShippingEasy, there are a few possible causes.

Have you added ShippingEasy to your store's API access list?

If you have never received any orders and ShippingEasy is displaying an ALERT that your Yahoo store is disconnected, then it is likely that you do not have the ShippingEasy partner token entered in your Yahoo account. Learn how to access the partner token.

Have you granted ShippingEasy access to your Yahoo Catalog? 

In order for your orders to download, you'll need to have your Catalog turned on.  It's easy to configure this:

  1. In Yahoo Store Manager, click the Real-Time Links link, located in the "Order Settings" column.
  2. Click the API Settings link.
  3. If the "Catalog" column doesn't have a green circle, click edit and check Catalog.

Was the order cancelled or cleared?

If you cancel the order over in the Yahoo user interface that was still on the ORDERS page in ShippingEasy, we will automatically clear it on the next sync.  

What is the order status in Yahoo? 

Only orders that have a status of "OK" in Yahoo are sent to ShippingEasy.

Do you have a surplus of old Yahoo orders in ShippingEasy?

ShippingEasy will periodically query your Yahoo store for updates to your unshipped orders. If you have a very large quantity of unshipped orders present in ShippingEasy, this may result in the query timing out and an incomplete transfer of order data.

We recommend removing any old orders from ShippingEasy that you do not intend to ship through ShippingEasy.  There are a couple of options available to remove these orders:
