What are API credentials?

What is an API?

API, or Application Program Interface, is coding that allows communication between two applications or interfaces. The API that ShippingEasy has allows us to communicate with your store platforms. Not only does ShippingEasy have direct integrations with specific store platforms, but our API is open. This means that even if you do not have a store that we directly integrate with, you may have the option to do so on your own. Learn more here

If you want to link a store to ShippingEasy, however, you need API Credentials. API credentials are private pieces of information (similar to a login and password) within your store that you can use to connect and share information between it and ShippingEasy.

How do I find my API credentials?

To find your API credentials, click on the integration article corresponding with your store. From there, you will find out how to locate your API credentials.
