IMPORTANT:

ShippingEasy will be converting our USPS postage provider to Stamps.com beginning in February. During the conversion process, the information in this article will change.

  • If your account has not been converted to a Stamps.com postage account, please proceed with Why can't I buy labels with an exact amount in my Endicia account? Learn more about our conversion process.
  • If your account has been converted to a Stamps.com account, please follow the steps under Why can't I buy labels with an exact amount in my Stamps account?

Why can't I buy labels with an exact amount in my Endicia account?

It is possible to purchase labels with the exact amount in your Endicia account. However, this is only possible when purchasing from the ORDERS page or READY TO SHIP page.

When you purchase labels on the READY FOR PAYMENT page, you will not be allowed to reach a zero ($0) balance. Attempting to buy labels with the exact the amount in your USPS postage account will prompt you to add more to your postage balance.

This can be done on demand or set up to automatically refill:

If you prefer to complete the transaction on your ORDERS or READY TO SHIP page, you can add postage to you account in the following ways:

On the ORDERS page

If you create a manual order or select an existing order and use the Quick Ship button but do not have an adequate postage balance, a popup window will be displayed alerting you.
With a single click, you purchase the required amount of postage to print the label. oops_postage_balance_too_low.PNGThis popup window also includes an option to setup auto-postage refill to prevent insufficient postage in the future.purchase_postage_enable_auto_refill_orders_page.PNG

On the READY TO SHIP page

If you return one or more shipments to the READY TO SHIP page, you can work around this restriction. On the READY TO SHIP page, select the Print Later option to allow the purchase.
