How can I change the name that is displayed on my confirmation emails?

Created:   |   Updated:

Whether you are using a customized notification or ShippingEasy's default email template, you can easily update the store named in it's message.

Both the store.name and store.email fields on the custom and default templates pull the name and email used on each integration on the STORES & ORDERS page.
NOTE: if you are sending notifications for a non-CSV manual store, the Store Name <noreply@shippingeasy.com> and the store name listed in the confirmation emails will be taken from the company name listed as the default Ship from address on the STORED ACCOUNT ADDRESSES page. Learn more.
For additional CSV manual orders, this value can be edited follow the instructions below. Learn more about setting up a CSV manual orders store.

Edit your store name and email address by following these steps:

  1. Go to SETTINGS > STORES & ORDERS.

  2. For each store that you would like to update, click Edit store settings.
NOTE: don't forget to update your Manual Orders store if you upload orders via CSV file or enter them via the QUICK SHIP page.

  3. Update the Store Name field to edit your store name. Update the Email field to edit your email.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and Save your changes.

Alternatively, you can customize your email templates to use static information that does not rely on the name that you use within ShippingEasy to differentiate your stores. This is a great option if you have multiple stores with the same name and you use the platform name internally to differentiate the stores.

To set this up:

  1. Create individual custom email templates for each store. Learn more.
  2. Assign each custom template to your specific stores by navigating back to SETTINGS, then STORES & ORDERS.
  3. For each store that you would like to update, click Edit store settings.
NOTE: don't forget to update your Manual Orders store if you upload orders via CSV file or enter them via the QUICK SHIP page.
  4. Within the EMAIL MESSAGES section, select your custom template from the Select Shipping Confirmation Email Template and/or Select Return Shipping Email Template menus.
  5. After you've made your changes, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
