How to: Mark an order as shipped

If you have orders that are drop shipped or processed by a third party, you can opt to select and mark these as Shipped, add a tracking number, and notify your store/buyer. Edit individual orders or multiple at a time.

IMPORTANT: orders marked as shipped will count towards your monthly label use.

There are three key benefits to marking your orders as shipped, versus deleting them:

  1. You retain a record of the shipment in your Shipment History.
  2. If you provide a valid tracking number, ShippingEasy will update your store with the shipment information.
  3. Drop shipped orders are included in your shipment Reports.

 

Mark as shipped: Single order

  1. To mark items that have been shipped to your customers, first click on the ORDERS tab from anywhere in your account.



  2. Locate the order that has been drop shipped. Click on the arrow in the far right column from the order labeled "Status" and select Mark as Shipped.

  3. A modal window will appear. Enter in the item's Tracking Number and select the Carrier.



    If you do not have a tracking number for the order, you can still check the box to Update order status to 'Shipped' in my store. 
    NOTE: only carriers configured within your ShippingEasy account will be available from the menu. Learn how to add additional carriers.
  4. Select Save and ShippingEasy will transfer the order records to your SHIPMENT HISTORY, as well as update your store if requested.
     

Mark as shipped: Multiple orders 

  1. Select the check box next to the corresponding orders.
    NOTE: be sure all orders have been shipped via the same carrier.


  2. Click the More button and select Mark as Shipped.



  3. A modal window will appear. Enter in the Tracking Number for each order.



  4. Choose the correct Carrier from the dropdown box.
    NOTE: only carriers configured within your ShippingEasy account will be available. Learn how to add additional carriers.


  5. Depending on your preference, select or un-select the checkbox next to Update order status to 'Shipped' in my store.



  6. Select Save and ShippingEasy will transfer the order records to your SHIPMENT HISTORY, as well as update your store if requested.

    Would love if this feature was available from the 'Ready to ship' page. Having to send the order back to the orders page before being able to mark it as shipped can get confusing as new orders are arriving all the time.

    We "print packingslips/create shipments" for all of our orders at once, and then process everything from the Ready to Ship page.
