How to: Split an order

An order containing multiple items can be split to accommodate changes in stock, different shipping locations or multiple packaging needs. ShippingEasy's Split Order function allows you to do this one at a time or in bulk for multiple orders. By splitting an order, each line item will create a new order on the ORDERS page.

To split an order:

  1. Locate the order or orders you would like to split and check the box.

  2. Click the "More" button and select "Split Orders" from the drop down.

  3. ShippingEasy will split out the items from the orders selected so that they appear in single quantities on the orders page as separate line items. The order number will be the same for the line items corresponding to the original order.

  4. If the order you are splitting contains multiple items with multiple SKUs, the SKUs will be grouped together as single line items. You can further split the quantity by selecting to Split Item Quantity.
