Can I use UPS to ship to a P.O. Box?

Created:   |   Updated:

Not technically, no.

If a recipient has a P.O. Box address and a UPS service is selected:

  • The recipient's telephone number must be included on the label.
  • The package that is addressed to a P.O. Box may be delayed.
  • It will not be covered by any UPS Service Guarantee.
  • May require an address correction charge of $12.
NOTE: Army Post Office (APO) and Fleet Post Office (FPO) addresses are not accepted for most UPS services.
