What UPS label return options are available?

With ShippingEasy, creating UPS return labels is easy and flexible with 3 different options to choose from. You can change these options at any time.

  • Print and/or Email the Return Labels to Customer: Create and print a UPS return label, then have it automatically emailed to the customer via ShippingEasy. At time of writing, this UPS return labels cost $1.00 on top of the postage fee. Learn more about ShippingEasy's automatic return shipment emails.
  • 1 UPS Pickup Attempt from Customer: Arrange for UPS to create and deliver a return shipping label to your customer and collect the item for return on the following business day. UPS will attempt to pickup the return package from your customer once. If the pickup is unsuccessful, the driver will leave the return label at your customers location. Then, it's the customers responsibility to put the label on the package and drop it off at a UPS location to be shipped. At time of writing, this UPS return label cost $6.00 on top of the postage fee.
  • 3 UPS Pickup Attempts from Customer: Arrange for UPS to create and deliver a return shipping label to your customer and collect the item for return on the following business day. UPS will attempt to pickup the return package from your customer up to three times from the specified address. At time of writing, this UPS return label cost $8.20 on top of the postage fee.
NOTE: Return labels are not available for UPS Surepost and Mail Innovation services.

To change the UPS return shipment method for your ShippingEasy account:

  1. From the top right corner of ShippingEasy, click POSTAGE AND CARRIERS page.
  2. Scroll down to the UPS logo and click Manage Account under your UPS account information.
  3. Expand the Return Shipment Method menu and select the option you need.

  4. Click the blue Update button at the bottom of the page to save the change.
