Do I need to sign my customs forms by hand?

USPS requires a signature, including a first and last name, on each customs form. If you are filling out your customs forms by hand, you'll also need to sign them by hand.

However, ShippingEasy automatically generates the required customs form and can also automatically add your electronic signature and date. This saves you time and ensures that you never forget to sign these documents.

To set up automatic customs form signatures:

  1. From the SETTINGS tab, navigate to INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS.
  2. Check the box to Include Signature on Customs Forms and type your first and last name.

  3. Save your settings and you're done!

We will automatically create an electronic signature and date on customs forms for your future international shipments.
