Created:   |   Updated:

If you use ConnectEasy and find that your print jobs are not printing, it can be helpful to verify ConnectEasy is running on your computer, and to reconnect ConnectEasy, in the event that it is already running.

  1. Verify ConnectEasy is installed and running on your computer.
  2. Reconnect ConnectEasy.

Verify ConnectEasy is installed and running on your computer.

Locate the ConnectEasy icon.

Mac: ConnectEasy should be located in the Menu bar at the top right of your screen.

If the ConnectEasy icon is not visible in your Menu Bar, it is likely the application is not running or installed on your computer. If you recently installed ConnectEasy, navigate to your Applications folder and start ConnectEasy by double-clicking on it.

Windows: ConnectEasy should be located in the lower-right corner, in the taskbar.

Finding the icon for the running application can be tricky on Windows because Windows sometimes "hides" application icons in its taskbar. Follow these instructions to show all notification icons:

Note: If you are unsure which version of Windows you are running, please refer to Microsoft Support here.

Windows 7 or earlier:

  1. In the bottom left corner of the screen, right click on the Windows "Start Icon" and select "Properties".
  2. Select the "Taskbar" tab and then click the "Customize" button.
  3. Check the "Always show all icons and notifications on the taskbar" option and then click "OK".

Windows 8:

  1. In the bottom left corner of the screen, click on the Windows "Start Icon" and select "Control Panel".
  2. Click "Appearance and Personalization" and then click "Taskbar and Start Menu".
  3. Click the "Notification Area" tab.
  4. Clear the "Hide inactive icons" check box, and then click "OK".

Windows 10: Desktop Mode

  1. In the bottom left corner of the screen, click on the Start Start icon button, and then select 'Settings'.
  2. From Settings, select the 'System' category.
  3. From System, select the 'Notification & actions' option on the left.
  4. Below the Quick actions on the right, click "Select which icons appear on the taskbar".
  5. From the list of icons that appear, locate and turn on 'ConnectEasy'.

If the ConnectEasy icon is still not visible in your Task Bar, it is likely the program is not running or installed on your computer. If you recently installed ConnectEasy, navigate to your All Apps or All Programs folder and start ConnectEasy by double-clicking on it.
