(1) Select the content for your packing slips and assign a template to your orders

ShippingEasy uses a template when printing a packing slip. The template defines which order and shipment data are included on the packing slip.

There is a template named Standard Template that is included with ShippingEasy. To see a packing slip created with the included template, follow these steps.

  1. Click Standard Template.

  3. After previewing the Standard Template, you will need to decide if you like this template or require a different packing slip.

If you like the Standard Template:

Make sure that it is your "Default" template.

You are done selecting your template. Now go select the size of your packing slips.

    3. ShippingEasy provides the most commonly used packing slip templates. These templates include order information such as product images and SKU barcodes.

The templates are designed for use with one of three layouts:
      • 4"x6"
      • 8.5"x11"
      • 8.5"x11", with combined label

Click a template name to select it. A preview will appear on the right.

    5. Now you will need to decide if you want to apply this Packing Slip template to all or some of your orders.

To apply the template to all orders, based on destination:

Check the boxes to make this template the default for domestic and/or international shipments.

To apply the template to specific orders:

If you do not want this template to be applied solely based on order destination, you will want to create a Shipping Rule to apply the template to shipments. This can be done as soon as you finish saving the template. Learn how to assign Packing Slip templates with Shipping Rules.

    6. Click Create Template to save the new template.
