Why don't tracking numbers post back to PayPal?

PayPal only supports the addition of shipment information via the PayPal browser-based user interface. Currently, PayPal does not support automatic shipment updates from any other external system like ShippingEasy.  Unfortunately, this means that neither tracking numbers, carrier information, nor shipping cost can be sent back.
