Calculate First-Class Package International Service Rates | Overview

Created:   |   Updated:

ShippingEasy partners with Stamps.com to provide rates for First Class Mail International (FCMI) shipments. The rate for these shipments is calculated based on a weight-range and County Price Group.

Package Weight:

Since costs are based on a weight-range, several weights will cost the same to ship. Stamps.com will automatically list the heaviest weight in that range on the label.

For example: Packages weighing 37, 38, 39, or 40oz will all ship at the same rate, but 40oz will be shown on the label as it is the heaviest weight in the range.

Package weight range (oz) Weight on label
9 - 12 12 oz
13 - 16 16 oz
17 - 20 20 oz
21 - 24 24 oz
25 - 28 28 oz
29 - 32 32 oz
33 - 36 36 oz
37 - 40 40 oz
41 - 44 44 oz
45 - 48 48 oz
49 - 52 52 oz
53 - 56 56 oz
57 - 60 60 oz
61 - 64 64 oz

Country Group:

USPS uses Country Price Groups to calculate shipping rates for international shipments. The shipment destination determines the Country Price Group. Look up the Country Price Group for your package.

Finding Postage Cost:

Once you know the package weight and Country Price Group, you can use a USPS rate table to find the shipping cost. ShippingEasy subscribers receive a discounted rate, rather than USPS Retail rates.

Paid subscribers receive USPS Commercial rates, while free subscribers get ShippingEasy Starter Rate discounted pricing.
