When selecting USPS carrier and service for a shipment, why does it automatically include free delivery confirmation?

Created:   |   Updated:

When making "Carrier Selections" within the READY TO SHIP page, ShippingEasy offers free Delivery Confirmation on selected mail classes.

When you book a shipment through Priority Mail, Express Mail, First Class Mail, Parcel Select or Media Mail the cost of Delivery Confirmation is already included in the rate and is shown as FREE in the "Your Shipping Cost" section.

Delivery Confirmation will let you know the date and time an item was delivered as well as the time and date a delivery was attempted but not successful if applicable. This information can be checked online with the USPS Track & Confirm tool.

You can still purchase additional delivery confirmation services like Adult Signature Confirmation and Signature Confirmation in the Confirmation drop down below "Additional Shipment Options."
