What happens if I accidentally cancel a label for a shipment I've already sent?

Canceling a label does not make it ineligible to enter the mail stream.  Rather, canceling a label submits a request to Endicia for a refund of the postage paid.  

Once Endicia receives a refund request, they wait 10 days before processing the request to ensure that the shipment does not enter the mail stream. 

  • If the package is mailed: the refund is denied. 
  • If the package is not mailed: the refund is processed and deposited back to your postage balance. 

In either case, you will see the 'canceled' status in ShippingEasy persist.  However, it will not affect whether or not your package is shipped and received.
