Yes, there are a couple of ways that you can use Shipping Rules to flag your orders that contain out-of-stock items.

With both solutions, you will want to begin by updating your Products catalog. Learn more.

Once your Product SKUs have been saved, you'll have two options to use Shipping Rules:
