What is the Ship By Date column on the ORDERS page?

The Ship By Date indicates the latest date you should ship an order to ensure your package/s arrives to your buyer within the estimated delivery window. This column helps prioritize how, and in what order, you fulfill your unshipped orders.

This feature is intended for the following platforms:

  • Amazon
  • ChannelAdvisor orders that originated on Amazon
  • eBay
NOTE: if you select the Ship By Date on any other platform, the field will not be populated.

    Thanks for posting to our community forum. The columns on the Orders page can be customized to suit your business needs. To add, remove, or rearrange your columns on the ORDERS page click the Arrange Columns link and specify which columns are displayed and what order they are displayed in.

    The Ship By Date indicates the latest date you should ship an order to ensure your package/s arrives to your buyer within the estimated delivery window. This column helps prioritize how, and in what order, you fulfill your unshipped orders.  

    It looks like you currently have an Etsy store connected to your account. The Ship By Date feature only works with eBay, Amazon, and Channel Advisor orders that came from Amazon.

    I have 1 day handling time set on eBay and Amazon, but frequently see ship by dates that are 2 days after the order date, making the column inaccurate for prioritizing shipments. I have checked eBay and Amazon settings and they are set correctly for shipping the next business day.

    Why is the ship by date wrong on some orders?

    Hello Bill,

    The Ship by date is sent to us in the code for your orders by the store itself, we do not edit or in any way change that date on our end.

    If you have examples of orders that have a differnt ship by date in Amazon or eBay than what is shown in ShippingEasy please send our support team an email, chat in, or give us a call and we can take a look at an example with you!
