WooCommerce Legacy vs REST Integration - ShippingEasy | Overview

Created:   |   Updated:

ShippingEasy released a new WooCommerce store integration in July of 2017. It uses REST technology, which no longer requires the WooCommerce ShippingEasy Plugin.

The REST integration enables ShippingEasy Inventory Management for WooCommerce stores.

If you are still using the legacy integration, we recommend migrating to the REST integration for WooCommerce stores. Learn how to migrate to the WooCommerce rest integration.

Follow the procedure below to determine whether you are running ShippingEasy's legacy WooCommerce store integration or the REST integration.

To determine if you use ShippingEasy's legacy WooCommerce store integration:

  1. From anywhere in the app, click the SETTINGS tab at the top of the page.
  2. Under INTEGRATIONS, click on STORES & ORDERS.

  3. Scroll down to the WooCommerce store you want to check. If you see a Store API Key, Shipment Callback URL and the Download Plugin link as shown below, then your ShippingEasy WooCommerce store integration is the legacy integration.
