How to: Configure WooCommerce product listings for inventory management

ShippingEasy will only import and update inventory for WooCommerce products that are configured with a SKU.  The following instructions detail how to configure a SKU for a single product or SKUs for a product listing with variations. 

How to: Configure Simple products for inventory management (i.e. products without variations)

  1. Log into your WordPress Site dashboard. 

  2. Select All Products from the main Products menu item.

  3. Find the product you want to configure for stock management, click on the product and then click the Edit link for that product.

  4. Click on a listing to edit the listing.  Select the Inventory tab under Product data, check the Manage stock? setting and set the stock quantity.

  5. Finally, save changes to the product by clicking the Update button on the right.

How to: Configure Variable product variations for inventory management

    1. Log into your WordPress Site dashboard. 

    2. Select All Products from the main Products menu item.

    3. Find the product you want to configure for stock management, click on the product and then click the Edit link for that product.

    4. Click on a listing to edit the listing.  Select the Variations tab under Product data. Next click Expand to expand the variation configuration for each variation. For each variation, configure a SKU, check the Manage stock? setting and set the stock quantity.

    5. Finally, save changes to the product by clicking the Update button on the right.
