How to: Select which order statuses sync from WooCommerce into ShippingEasy

Created:   |   Updated:

ShippingEasy will sync "Pending," "Processing," and "On-Hold" WooCommerce orders by default.  However, you have the flexibility to configure which order statuses get synced, including custom orders statuses, within your WooCommerce store settings.

"Pending" WooCommerce orders will be brought into ShippingEasy with a status of Awaiting Payment. "Processing" orders will be brought into ShippingEasy with a status of Awaiting Fulfillment.
"On-Hold" orders will be brought into ShippingEasy with a status of Awaiting Fulfillment.

To select which order statuses sync from WooCommerce into ShippingEasy:

  1. From anywhere in the app, navigate to the SETTINGS tab.

  2. Under the INTEGRATION section, select STORES & ORDERS.

  3. Under your WooCommerce store information, click Edit store settings.

  4. Scroll down to "Enable Order Statuses" - the first three order statuses are enabled by default on store integration.

NOTE: ShippingEasy allows you to map up to three custom order statuses defined in your WooCommerce store, to the "customer_" status values above, so that those custom order statuses will be synced into your ShippingEasy account. To learn how to edit your custom order statuses in the WooCommerce Custom Order Status Manager, go to the next section in this article titled, "How To Configure ShippingEasy to Import Orders with Custom Order Statuses".
  5. Check the box next to the statuses you want to sync and uncheck any boxes next to the statuses you do not want to sync.

  6. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and Save the changes.

How To Configure ShippingEasy to Import Orders with Custom Order Statuses:

The WooCommerce Order Status Manager plugin allows you to create, edit, and delete custom order statuses and integrate them seamlessly into your WooCommerce order management flow.  If you create custom order statuses that you want ShippingEasy to sync to the Orders page, you will need to configure the order status in the Order Status Manager plugin, so it maps to one of the three custom order statuses (custom_1, custom_2 and custom_3) in your ShippingEasy WooCommerce Store Settings.

  1. Log into your WordPress site administration dashboard.
  2. Select SETTINGS in the WooCommerce menu.

  5. Now configure the "Slug" name to match one of the three ShippingEasy custom order status names - we are using "custom_1" for this case. After changing the slug to "custom_1", click the Save Order Status button to save your change.
