How to: Export my Customers from Magento

To take full advantage of the Customer Management email marketing tools, you will want to save your customers to ShippingEasy. Start by exporting your customer information from Magento. Then upload the data to ShippingEasy.

In this guide, we provide steps for exporting data from both Magento v1.x and v2.x. Refer to the section that corresponds to the version of Magento that your store is built on.

How to: Export your Customers from Magento v1.x

  1. Log into the admin panel of your Magento store.
  2. Select the Customers tab.

  3. Then select Manage Customers.

  4. From the "Export to" drop down, select CSV. Then click the orange Export button.

  5. When your customer CSV file is ready, you can upload it to ShippingEasy. Learn how to upload a CSV file of Customer information to ShippingEasy's Customer Management database.

How to: Export your Customers from Magento v2.x

  1. Log into the admin panel of your Magento 2 store.
  2. From the left hand navigation menu, select Customers.

  3. Under the Customers menu, select All Customers.

  4. Select the Export tab. Then select the CSV option. Click the Export button.

  5. When your customer CSV file is ready, you can upload it to ShippingEasy. Learn how to upload a CSV file of Customer information to ShippingEasy's Customer Management database.
