Overview: Inventory Management Dashboard

ShippingEasy's Inventory Management Dashboard gives you a complete picture of your product activity, from available stock to suppliers and purchase orders. There are six sections to provide you a holistic view of your products and inventory.

Navigate to the INVENTORY tab from anywhere in ShippingEasy by clicking INVENTORY and then selecting INVENTORY DASHBOARD. This will take you directly to the Inventory Management Dashboard.

Product Overview

  1. Total Units Sold: Quantity of products that have been sold (shipped or unshipped) in the specified time period. The difference vs the previous time period is also displayed.
  2. Unshipped Units: Quantity of products that have been sold but have not been shipped in the specified time period. The difference vs the previous time period is also displayed.
  3. Unshipped Revenue: Sum of the order totals for all the unshipped orders in the specified time period. The difference vs the previous time period is also displayed.
  4. Top Products by Revenue: The Top 5 products based on the order totals for all shipped and unshipped orders in the specified time period. Sorted in descending order by Revenue.
    NOTE: Products are distinguished by SKU in this table, but their Product Name is displayed to make it easy to identify. As aliased SKUs share a Product Name, you'll see the name listed multiple times if multiple aliased SKUs are Top Products. Additionally, if the Revenue value happens to be the same for multiple products in the table, those products will be sorted alphabetically by Product Name.
  5. Top Products by Units Sold: Top 5 products based on units sold for all shipped and unshipped orders in the specified time period.
    NOTE: Products are distinguished by SKU in this table, but their Product Name is displayed to make it easy to identify. As aliased SKUs share a Product Name, you'll see the name listed multiple times if multiple aliased SKUs are Top Products. Additionally, if the Revenue value happens to be the same for multiple products in the table, those products will be sorted alphabetically by Product Name.
     

Active Products

  1. Active: The total number of Products marked “active” in your ShippingEasy product catalog, with a link to see the full list of all active products.
  2. Units On-hand: The total number of Available units plus Committed (to unshipped orders) units across all SKUs.
  3. Total Inventory Value: This is calculated by SKU Stock x Unit Wholesale Price, then summed for all SKUs.
  4. Available Units: Number and % of In Stock units that are Available for sale across all SKUs.
  5. Committed Units: Number and % of In Stock units that are Committed to unshipped orders across all SKUs.
NOTE: When the Available or Committed Units is greater than 1 but less than 0.5%, the percentage will display as <1%. In this case, the alternate Units value will still display as 100%.

Stock Levels

  1. Low Stock Products: the number of SKUs that are low in stock based on the low stock threshold. The “Top 5” low stock products (based on greatest shortage) are displayed with a link to see all low stock products. The table is sorted in descending order by Shortage.
    Columns in the table:
    • In Stock = available stock of the SKU
    • Threshold = low stock threshold for the product
    • Shortage = Threshold - Available.
  2. Products Awaiting Receipt: the number of SKUs that are awaiting to be received from outstanding (Open and Partially Received) purchase orders. The “Top 5” products awaiting receipt (by greatest Awaiting) are displayed with a link to see all products awaiting receipt. The table is sorted in descending order by Awaiting.
    Columns in the table:
    • In Stock = available stock of the SKU
    • Awaiting = quantity on outstanding purchase orders for the SKU
    • Total After Receipt = In Stock + Awaiting

Suppliers and Purchase Orders

  1. Open POs: Total of all Open and Partially Received POs in the specified time period. The difference vs the previous time period is also displayed.
    NOTE: the Open POs calculation includes both Open and Partially Received POs.
  2. Partially Received POs: Total of all Partially Received POs in the specified time period. The difference vs the previous time period is also displayed.
  3. Fully Received POs: Total of all Completed POs in the specified time period. The difference vs the previous time period is also displayed.
  4. Closed POs: Total of all Closed POs in a specified period of time. The difference vs the previous time period is also displayed.
  5. Top Suppliers: Open + Partially Received + Fully Received + Closed. Plus links to view All Purchase Orders and All Suppliers.
NOTE: When the calculation of Open POs, Partially Received POs, Fully Received POs, or Closed POs for the filtered time period is the same as what it's being compared to, the difference vs the previous time period is displayed as 0.

Configure Inventory Management

The Configure Inventory Management section steps you through the premier 5 steps to get fully set-up from the start. As you complete each step, the system will automatically complete it for you. If you prefer, check them off yourself by selecting to "skip". Once the section is completed, it will collapse so you can reference it later if need be.
