Update Stock Levels to my Store | How To

With ShippingEasy Inventory Management, inventory stock levels are tracked as orders come in. Your store's stock levels can then be updated based on this activity. This allows you to simplify your operations with a single place to check for your current inventory status - ShippingEasy!

BEFORE YOU ARE READY: first you must configure your store settings to send stock level updates.

In order to update any stock levels to your stores, make sure that you have allowed inventory updates for your stores and that you have linked products. Learn how to enable stock level updates for your store.

Once you have enabled stock level updates for your store, you will have the option to send your products stock levels to your store using automatic and on-demand tools.

Automatic stock level updates, every 10 minutes, for recently adjusted products

On-demand stock level updates, with current product data

  • For individual product SKUs
  • For all products in a store

How to: Send a stock update to my stores for a specific product SKU

  1. Expand the INVENTORY menu and select PRODUCT CATALOG.
  2. Locate the SKU that you want to update and click on it.

  3. Click the Send to store button at the top right of the page.

These updates will take about 10 minutes to complete.

How to: Resend a one-time update of all product inventory levels to store

  1. Go to SETTINGS.
  2. Then click STORES & ORDERS.

  3. Locate the specific store that you would like to resend a one-time inventory update for all enabled products. Click the Edit Store Settings link.
    NOTE: sending inventory updates in bulk is only allowed for stores that support stock level updates.
  4. On the Products tab, scroll down to "Inventory Management" and uncheck the box to Send available stock to store.

  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
  6. Re-click the Edit Store Settings link under the same store.
  7. On the Products tab, scroll down to "Inventory Management" and check the box to Send available stock to store. If you have more than one stock location, select which locations to send stock to.

    ALERT: This will send current stock levels from ShippingEasy to your store and override any stock levels there.

    If you have not reviewed and validated stock levels in ShippingEasy, first adjust stock levels in ShippingEasy to avoid sending incorrect or zero stock levels to your stores.

  8. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.

As soon as you've saved, inventory levels will be resent from ShippingEasy to your online store.

    Do we need to do this manually each time?  In other words, if the process is automated, what use is the send to store button?  Just to make it happen faster?

    Hello Ray, and thank you for posting to our support center.

    While our Inventory feature normally syncs stock levels every 10 minutes automatically, if there are instances where you would like to retry sending your stock levels for specific product SKU's, you can use the Send to Store button to do so.

    Otherwise, you are welcome to allow the automatic updates to occur without needing to do anything extra on your end.
