Check Status of USPS Insurance Claim | How To

ShippingEasy wants to help you learn about the e-commerce industry.
This article describes a service provided by the United States Postal Service (USPS).

The USPS is a separate organization from ShippingEasy. For more information about USPS services, visit your local Post Office or go to USPS.com.

To review your claim, you will need to create or login to your USPS account. These credentials are separate from your ShippingEasy and Stamps accounts. Go to USPS.com to get started.

If you have filed a claim with our insurance partner Shipsurance, check the status of that claim.

Insurance claims filed with USPS for a domestic or international shipment can be checked either online or by phone.

If your USPS claim was filed online

  1. It may be possible to check the status by signing into your USPS account at www.usps.com/help/claims.htm
  2. Then go to the Claims History tab.

Hi,

Thank you for posting on our community forum. I am not able to locate a ShippingEasy account under the corresponding email address.

ShippingEasy is not the postal service, but a shipping software solution for e-commerce merchants. Contact USPS to help with lost packages and claim status.
