To integrate your Bigcommerce store with ShippingEasy you'll first need to access your account's settings tab. In the settings tab, click on the "stores" section. Alternatively, if you are integrating your store during registration, you can skip to the third step below.
Once there, click on the the "+ Add New" button on the side of the screen.
You'll then see a pane with four bars: Platform, Store URL, Username, and API token. You should select "Bigcommerce" in the platform bar and then type in your Bigcommerce store's URL. This is simply the web address of your store. We just need the URL that appears in the address bar when you visit your site.
NOTE: Copy this address EXACTLY as it appears in the address bar, because this allows us to properly access your store. For example, in the image below, we've highlighted the URL address as it appears in the address bar of our Bigcommerce store. In this case, the URL "candlestonegolf.com" would be entered in the store URL box instead of "www.candlestonegolf.com." Copying and pasting this address is the best way to ensure that this gets done correctly.
The following two fields are going to be filled with information from your admin store on Bigcommerce. You should do yourself a favor and open up either a tab or a new browser window and log in to your Bigcommerce account. Once you've got your Bigcommerce store open, click on the "Users" button at the top right hand corner of the screen.
On this screen you'll need to select "edit" on the "admin" user.
Scroll to the bottom of the page that appears after you click "edit". You will see a checkbox titled "Enable the API" at the bottom of your screen. Make sure that this box is CHECKED! Once it is, copy the API token that is in the box to the right of where it says "API token".
Once that is done, you can click "save" at the very bottom right hand part of the page. You're almost done! Now, go back to the ShippingEasy page and paste the API token that you copied earlier into the box labeled "API Token" and type in the username. In our example, we've used the "admin" username. That means that this is the username that we have typed into the "username" box. After that information has been entered, you can click the "Verify and continue" button.
If there are any problems with your integration, we'll let you know. Other than that, your integration is now complete!
